Henry
Our noble leader. Henry has been around the block and seen the motor trade from a number of different angles. He started selling more general cars before specialising in the Porsche marque. He was selling classic Porsches when they were current cars but has moved with the times.
Henry raced 911 GT3 Cup cars at various levels up to and including 24 hour races. A love of travel particularly Thailand, a commercially endorsed offshore Yachtmaster. For more than 10 years Henry has run sister company Charter Solent, a luxury motor boat charter company on the south coast.
Tom
Tom heads up the day to day running of the car sales and is Henry’s half brother. He joined the company in 2000 and spent the first few years learning the ropes before gradually developing his own knowledge base.
Tom has a good understanding of the used Porsche market built up over more than 20 years experience, in particular the more specialist cars within it’s history. A formidable tennis player in his youth Tom still picks up a racket and holds his own on court.
David
David cut his teeth over a number of decades working in the main dealer network predominantly for Vauxhall and BMW. His pragmatic approach ensures work gets done efficiently and solutions are found. He covers both the car sales and vehicle servicing departments.
When not working here David enjoys traveling the less well worn tourist paths. A visit to Palestine’s West Bank was a notable highlight some years ago where he got to see the real situation all be it from the comfort of Banksy’s Walled off Hotel.
Sharon
Sharon worked alongside Henry during the early days of 911virgin. Late nights picking up cars, long days with the chamois leather and polishing rag whilst at the same time helping to transform our base from 3 acres of South Buckinghamshire mud into a working car dealership.
These days Sharon takes care of the day to day finances and woe betide anyone who doesn’t have their receipts in order! A keen member of the local gym and a love of travel that has taken both her and Henry around the world.
Peter
By training Peter is an accountant but there’s only so much joy numbers can bring to your life. His true vocation has always been vehicle detailing. Self taught what he doesn’t know about paint finishes and the various products and potions associated with them could be written on the back of a postage stamp with a very thick pen.
Peter heads up our Ceramic coating and paint correction team helping owners maintain that just handed over finish and allowing them to constantly re-live the day they first set eyes on their new ride.
Paul
Paul works alongside Peter in the vehicle preparation department. A long time car detailing enthusiast he finally decided to make his hobby his profession and joined us. As well as routine valeting work Paul also undertakes paint correction and specialist coatings application. An eye for detail and keen work ethic make him a popular member of the team.
When not working here Paul is a family man with a wife and 2 children. He enjoys playing golf and allegedly shoots a fairly decent round.
Neil
Neil is our senior vehicle technician. At just 15 he started his apprenticeship with Ford. He then went into motorsport as a junior helping to run a certain Ayrton Senna. At 22 he joined an official Porsche dealer and the rest is history. We are now the beneficiaries of more than thirty years continuous Porsche knowledge. Every day is still a school day, the learning never stops.
When not on the spanners Neil loves his motorsport particularly Formula 1 and regularly attends races. Monday mornings in season always start with a discussion on Sunday’s race….
Emily
From the early days when she hung upside down as the poster girl for 911virgin Emily has been involved in the company. Having gained a first class honours degree in Business management Emily helps manage the social media and web presence.
Emily has been dancing virtually since birth and more recently has combined this with her gymnastic skills to fly in a competitive cheer leading squad where she also performs a role as coach.
Bentley
Bentley heads up the security team working alongside more traditional electronic methods. Long hours – he lives on site, are rewarded by unlimited meals, occasional doggy bags and the odd toy. Occasionally he finds his bed occupied by tiger the cat and has up to now trod a thin line to avoid conflict.
On a more serious note please don’t be tempted to pet Bentley on arrival.
Alan
Alan is that technician you go to when you can’t get something off. And then it costs you a trip to make the tea. From a general automotive background he progressed through VW and into the world of Porsche. An approved nominated MOT tester and great asset to the workshop team. Never happier than when a new specialist Snap-on tool arrives and finds a home in his roll cabinet. Plays the air conditioning machine like an fine antique violin.
When not working Alan is another keen F1 buff but doesn’t like football !
