A car we know particularly well and one we’ve worked on for a number of years. Supplied with an invoice supported service history from new complete with Certificate of Authenticity, the original dealer stamped service book, owners manual, and wallet. In recent years the car has benefitted from significant investment including a glass-out respray, a new exhaust system including heat exchangers, replacement oil lines, clutch, brake hoses, cam covers, fuel pump, tyres, and routine service. The car drives particularly well and presents in stunning condition throughout.

With the vast majority of these suffering badly from corrosion-related issues and rectification both costly and rarely straightforward to address, this particular example displays no such problems with solid kidney bowls, door shuts, wings, and a particularly well-preserved front luggage compartment, a common area for rust but not in this instance. Having benefitted from significant investment in recent years the car is mechanically and cosmetically very strong. The wheels are unmarked and shod with modern Michelin Pilot Sport 4 rubber. The leather seats have not been re-trimmed and are in superb condition with the red piping intact, carpets look fresh, as does the dashboard, door cards, and roof lining (another common area of weakness). This year of 3.2 was fitted with a more modern interior making it all the more attractive.

The engine is dryand the underside presents well. All things considered, this is a cracking 3.2 Carrera Coupe in a rare and desirable colour scheme.

Typical of a sports model the car comes with 16″ fuch alloys with a front lower splitter and rear engine lid spoiler. Seats are leather with 6-way electric height adjustment. Windows and mirrors are electric as is the sunroof and the car was factory optioned with a rear wiper and a Blaupunkt Toronto Tape Cassette player which remains.

A sound buy and a well-sorted 3.2 Carrera. Given we’ve worked on the car for several years we we’re more than comfortable in recommending it…Purchased directly from the previous owner who acquired the car back in 2014.
