Supplied new by Waldron Porsche the then main agent in Canterbury, Kent. A special car with an enviable service history. The service history extends over 4 large folders incorporating invoices, MOT certificates, old tax discs, maintenance and owner spreadsheets, publication features e.t.c. The car is supplied with the original service pack, service book, all manuals, pricing brochures, insurance valuations and a number of high quality stills of the car over time. The service history is about as extensive as we’ve seen and leaves no stone unturned.

Of the 127 UK RHD Genuine Factory Supersports a total of 23 Cabriolets were ordered with the 915 Gearbox. There were then 18 registered between between 1987 and 1989 with the later G50 gearbox. A car of the type with its’ provenance and mileage, presented in this condition is exceptionally rare. Everything about the car suggests cherished ownership and we’re genuinely thrilled to be offering it for sale.

Option code 491 (Turbo look) and the associated Supersport with its wider arches, Turbo brakes, sports suspension, deeper dish Fuch alloys and fixed rear spoiler was a comparatively expensive car back in the day. Hardly surprising that so few were ordered. This particular car cost £55542 compared with a standard Carrera priced at £27,500. Essentially twice the price.
